Plisga & Day Land Surveyors operates with several generations of land surveyors. Most of our Professional Land Surveyors have grown up in the company from summer help jobs, to full time as surveying technicians and then advancing to land surveyors upon successful completion of experience and state testing requirements. Many of our surveyors have a degree from the University of Maine in Surveying Engineering or Surveying Engineering Technology. Steve Sargent


Specializes in field procedures. With firm since 1978.

Isak Porter, LSIT


Since 2007, Isak has focused on field procedures, CAD drafting and deed research. His education includes a four year Surveying degree from the University of Maine. He holds his Land Surveyor In Training certificate.

Julian Wiggins, GIS


Since 2008 he has specialized in GIS, cartography and field procedures. Julian's education includes a Master of Forestry degree from the University of Maine; a Geology degree from Bates College; and current pursuit of core surveying classes at the University of Maine.

Controls office flow, manages accounts receivable, and maintains office inventory. With firm since 1982.

Shirley Southland


Bachelor of Science - Accounting - Husson College, Associates Degree - Business Management - University of Maine. Job duties include billings, time keeping, client contacts, client requests, and maintaining office inventory. With firm since 1995.


Plisga & Day was incorporated in 1978 by Stanley J. Plisga and Richard A. Day to provide traditional land survey services. Since its founding Plisga & Day has grown into the information age by using the latest in technology and computers. Technology and commitment to quality records have extended Plisga & Day from a land service organization into a digital information product center.
