Surveying services and the standards used vary depending on client and project parameters. The national standards below are a general guideline for certain types of projects (for example ALTA/ACSM survey standards are required by lenders in most commercial transactions). Review or download a copy of the Maine Rules of Practice for Professional Land Surveyors, or the American Land Title Association - American Congress on Surveying & Mapping standards.
