 Plisga & Day utilizes computers
extensively on a daily basis. Everything from
data collection and calculations to final plan drafting are all performed
on a computer. Field information is gathered by data collectors and
Total Stations. The calculations are performed using a least squares analysis program. Analysis,
drafting and design are determined by
various CAD and GIS software programs including AutoCAD, Carlson Survey,
MapInfo and ESRI ArcView. Many in-house written programs make these
processes more efficient.
Plisga & Day updates software and hardware regularly, keeping current
with the newest technology to maximize efficiency and the quality of
product.
