 Plisga & Day utilizes computers
extensively on a daily basis. Everything from
data collection and calculations to final plan drafting are all performed
on a computer. Field information is gathered by data collectors and EDM
Total Stations. The calculations are performed using in-house written
coordinate geometry software or third party least squares analysis program. Analysis,
drafting and design are determined by
various CAD and GIS software programs including AutoCAD. Many in-house written programs make these
processes more efficient.
