Mean High Water Survey

Real-Time-Kinematic (pronounce 'R' 'T' 'K') GPS surveying is a great way to map features in the open such as gravel pits, shorelines, parking lots, roadways and other open sky sites.  We have used several generations of Topcon base and rover systems.  In the open, RTK system collects data as fast as we can walk or even drive. In addition to collecting topo and site data, the RTK system has proven very productive on the construction site for staking foundation points, road centerlines, and utility corridors. RTK relies on a GPS base that transmits a correction to a rover GPS receiver. This technology works even if the rover can't directly see the base (often a problem on construction sites). If you have a open site development or construction project  which demands fast turn-around time, give us a call today to discuss the RTK GPS option.
