Julian Wiggins, PLS

Professional Land Surveyor

Julian attended Bates College and University of Otago, Dunedin New Zealand receiving a B.S. in Geology from Bates College in 2001. He later received a Master of Forestry degree from the University of Maine at Orono in 2008. He has many outdoor interests including hiking, climbing, canoeing, cross country and backcountry skiing. He spent a couple of years volunteering for national service through AmeriCorps in New Hampshire and Maine in 2002-2003 where he taught environmental education and led trail crews working on recreational trail construction and repair.

Julian’s resume includes time spent in recreational trail construction, residential construction, recreation management, ski trail grooming, and forest management, transitioning into work as a survey technician for Plisga & Day starting in 2008. He was licensed as a Maine Professional Land Surveyor in 2015.

He is an active member in various organizations including the Orono Land Trust, Penobscot Valley Ski Club, The Nature Conservancy, and Maine Appalachian Trail Club.
